and bush foods sourced from available bush plant ingredients, these products will express and share Yiriman women’s traditional knowledge and provide practical health benefits to users.
From skin and health care products, to teas, spreads, seeds and spices derived from traditionally-used plants inclding the iconic Boab, the healing, nutritional and gourmet uses for these traditional preparations are limitless.

Yiriman Women Bush Enterprises is a social enterprise project focusing On Country healing, sustainable bush harvest; art, design, and on Country cultural experiences in the beautiful Kimberley region of Western Australia.
It is part of an intergenerational, “on-Country” cultural program, conceived and developed directly by Elders from four Kimberley language groups- Nyikina, Mangala, Karajarri and Walmajarri- and whose aim is to “build stories in young people”. Our social enterprise focuses:
– On Country healing
– Sustainable bush harvest food & health products
– Cultural experiences with Yiriman women; and
– Art and design products made by or in collaboration with Yiriman women
